A responsive text block that scales its fonts using browser size.
This add-on works with fluid width areas only.
A jQuery plugin calculates font scale and line height based on container width, it's called on page load and on window re-size. Also your chosen maximum and minimum font sizes are used to limit the range of scaling.
Its best use is for large text headers that are required to scale for small screen devices, pads etc and full desktop displays.
The jQuery plugin is mash-up between my own script elastictext.js and some good bits from fittext.js which I recently discovered. This version uses a percentage of the objects container width and also sets the line height as a multiple of the calculated font size, in pixels.
