Hi Dan,
Removing the block does not delete the list of entries (as a safety precaution).
If want to delete the list (or specific entries in it), you need to manually remove them from the database. Do you know if you have access to "PhpMyAdmin" or "CPanel" or "Control Panel" on your server? Let me know so I can give you further instructions.

Yes, I have access to PhpMyAdmin.

Okay. Log into PhpMyAdmin, choose your site's database from the list on the left. Then find the table called "btEmailListSignupSubmissions" in the list on the left and click it.

To remove specific items from the list:
Click the "Browse" tab, and click the red "x" on the row you want to delete. Note that it only shows you 30 rows at a time, so you may need to flip to the next page to find what you want (there's a button with a right arrow (>) on it at the bottom of the list).

To remove the entire list in one fell swoop:
Click the "Empty" tab (2nd from the right, over on the right side of the page).
