Enlil Canonical URLs provides a block that optimizes your site's urls as listed by Search Engines such as Google & Bing. Avoid having multiple indexes of the same page floating around search engines competing with each other for search results rankings.
Place the block on a page by page basis (you can use global areas to affect every page of your site or use page type defaults to control the indexing based on area of site too).
Set up is simple. Choose either "Collection ID" or "Page Path" and save the block. The edit interface contains a short list of example urls based on two additional factors:
1. Your base url settings. www vs. non www
2. Pretty URLs being turned on/off
NOTE: At times there are parameters in your urls, such as on search results pages when you have paging turned on in your page list block. Therefore, you may or may not want to use this block on those search results pages if you want each page of the page list to be indexed as is.
