Auto Exclude from Nav

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I didn't see a way to have it do this automatically - but it would be appropriate/nice if the FAQ pages created were automatically excluded from the Nav. Instead of having to manually change the properties after the item is created.

Then I realized you just need to create a special FAQ page and then set the default for that page type to be exclude from Nav.

Hope this helps someone else.

Small problem,

I noticed that for some reason, unless I picked the SAME page type for the FAQ item that was the page type of where the FAQ lived, then the FAQ items didn't show up. As soon as I changed that, it worked.

Or.... so it would seem. It appears that for the Page Type Right Side bar, this is the only one that I can use for a FAQ page and result in the FAQ showing up at all.

Any ideas why this might be. I checked another page type that was essentially a copy of the right side bar that was working and really no difference, yet when I pick that page type the FAQ vanishes.
