Cannot figure out how this is supposed to work

I installed this add-on on my web site and tried to add the page list to my page according to the instructions. Unfortunately, I don't know what you mean by "...choose the "Example FAQ Page List" custom template." Where am I supposed to choose that template? I go to my page and try to add a Page list block but none of the options allow me to select a template called "ExampleFAQ Page List".

Am I doing something wrong?

Never mind. The setup instructions are missing the very important step to select "beneath this page" when adding the Page list block. It seems obvious in retrospect, but it's not at all obvious if you don't know how the add-on is supposed to work.

I suggest clarifying that in the setup instructions.

Anyway, thanks for the add-on!
