Faq Examples - issue with new pages.

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I have installed the addon and it works except one important thing:

When I add a new entry, it appears in the list, a new page gets created but the new page is empty with no text!

I have followed the instruction and looked at the tutorial detailing how to do it from scratch but can't find why it is not working.

Any hint on what to look for?

Thanks

I'm having the same problem, installed Example FAQ, drop the page list block & assigned custom template to page where I want the FAQs to appear. Added a test FAQ and everything looked great.., until you click Read More...The Full Answer doesn't appear on the following page..?

I'm guessing the template for the page thats created doesn't have the area that the package is placing the content block in. I imagine it's named "Main", but you can check by looking at the code in the controller for the dashboard page that ads the faq's

Too geeky. This add-ons should be a 'install & go' - and if it needs extra config, there should be clear documentation. Can this be looked at further?

The area on the page it's not working is called "Main" as well..

Jesse,

This addon is called "Example FAQ" not "Production FAQ". It certainly is pretty useful and functional and does work pretty well for allot of folks. It also provides a solid example of how to use pages as a data model and how to build a single page interface to manage those pages in the dashboard.

So, onto your problem:
- The dashboard page ads a content block to the new page of the page type you select to the area "Main" are you 100% sure that the page type you're selecting has the area "Main"? Did you try other page types? Any errors in the log?

I understand what you're saying, Ryan, but I agree with myFullFlavour.

If this is not intended to be a production software, it should not be in the Marketplace.

This is potentially very useful. Unfortunately, I am not a developer so it is not really for me.
