As far as I am aware, there is no way to change the language of an addon without changing the entire site. You might be able to create a new custom template for the addon and translate the view template in French.

Here's a guide on creating one. Basically you want to copy the view.php and replace the English words with their French versions. I would not wrap them in the t('word') and simply use word, or I guess in your case mot.
