Cannot edit my form

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Today I logged in to edit a form and simply remove an email address in the Notify field under Options. After removing it, I clicked on the Save button and received an error something like "You must add at least one question before saving the form". This confused me because this is not a new form but rather a fully developed, functioning form that has been in use for many months and working fine. So, I clicked on the Edit tab and it was blank! I can exit and my form is still there, but I can't find a way to edit it! Any ideas for me?

Hi,

Not sure what that is. Sounds like a javascript.
Could you try to refresh the page an see if the changes are saved or not?

Best,

I've done that and, no, the change is not saved. Would you like to try it out if I give you a login?

This is still not resolved. I would like to remove an email address from the Notify line in Options. But I cannot save the form. It seems to remove everything from the form when I try to edit it, and so it gives me an error when I try to save saying I must add at least one item.

Please help me with this.

Additional info;

I tried recreating the form in a new block. But when finished, I could not delete the original form block from the page. So, I created a new page, then created a new form with the same fields, from scratch, eliminating the email address I wanted to delete on the original form. Then deleted the other page. Then I went to edit the new form and all the fields are blank in edit mode. Everything is there in the Options panel, but if I edit anything, I can't save it because it doesn't see any form fields. Very strange.

Do you have any ideas on how to resolve this?

Hi,

Try to switch back to a default theme. See if your theme breaks the form.
Also try clearing the cache and disable cache to see if that works.

I tried your suggestion, but I have too many customizations to allow me to just switch to another theme. I started with the Morph theme. I think it must be a jquery / javascript conflict. For now, I was able to remove the email address by creating a new page and new form. So, the urgency is no longer there. I'll dig deeper into the diagnostics once I have the time.

Thanks for your suggestions,
Steve
