Editing Details?

I may be asking the obvious, but it wasn't quite clear in the project page. When adding details, is this done via the interface or do I need to edit content externally via XML or other format? I'm looking for a solution where the client can update this without having to FTP, etc. Maybe another screenshot or two to help clarify/show this?

concrete5 comes with a really nice file manage (aka asset library), so you just upload you files into that (individually, as a bulk upload, or by FTPing them into a directory). Then you can assign those various attributes/properties, which you may choose to display or search with the file/image details block (you can also do this with my proPhoto and image search blocks).
