Hi. I tried to use the plugin on my site, but the problem is, that it wont show on iPad. Instead I just see a crossed out play symbol. To see if I did something wrong I tried the same with the official demo page and got the same error there.
Is there a way how to fix this?
Elyon,
I know that it might be my fault that the addon is not working, but I think you should at least take the time to reply to me and send me a link to an example where video on ipad works.
I started a new job just before this thread, and subsequently have been buried with 150+ emails each day from work and haven't been connected to my personal computer, really, until this week.
I don't have an iPad to test with, but I was told it works. If you use an H.264 encoded video, an i-device should be able to play it, as well as Flash. I'm using a standard HTML5 embed, relying on the iOS browser to create the chrome for playing the video.
Let me see if I can find someone else who did this on their site...
I am really having trouble testing this, as I don't have a video or a device to test with. Can you try to upload and use a video which you know will play in your browser, and see if it works?
For some reason the video on my site works now in iPad - but I can't really tell why. The one on the demo site is still broken though.
If I get around to investigate this a little further I'll let you know.

FLV will only work with Flash, but MP4 should work with Flash and Apple's HTML5 implementation.
Let me know! Thanks!
