Can we expect a version for 5.7?

Dear Corretje
We are often using your formidable for building up sites. And it's absolute great tool for this. Beginning from january 2015 we like to do more sites with the new concrete5.7. We know that it is a lot of work and a lot of changes to make.
But have you plans to build a form-creator for 5.7 (perhaps another tool that begins with less features?).
The lack of a really good formbuilder in 5.7 an multilanguage capabilities (should come with 5.7.3) is our main blocker for changing the version.
Thanks a lot for your awesome work and have a good day!
best regards, Roland

Really excited! I'm checking every week if it's available... :-)
Sorry! Working on it....
Hi DeWebmakers,
Just wondering if you had an expected timeframe (ballpark), we're starting to plan the transition to 5.7 late spring and there are a few add-ons that we would like to have in inventory or at the very least anticipate when they might become available. Thanks in advance!

Maybe the month of May... :)
Any update on a version for 5.7 please
Any update please?
Sorry, no news yet...
Here is an update on Formidable for C5.7.
We have started a Kickstarter project to fund the rebuilding of the addon. With this kickstarter project I can reserve the time and resources to start building. Hope you are willing to help out!
Please go to:https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1514257257/formidable-for-concr... and help us!
With your help we can free-up some time and resources to rebuild the best addon there is and make it available for the Concrete 5.7 community!
Best,
Corretje

Dear Corretje
Thats a good idea. As privat person I'm already supporter of your kickstarter-project. I'm discussing in our team for supporting from our company. We would love to have formidable back!

Well the Kickstarter campaign obviously didn't work out well which leads to the question of what now?
Judging from the number of reviews for both Extended Form and Formidable (as well as interest stated here, etc.), it would seem there is significant interest, which I think will only grow. However, I'm sure you've heard the term "Window Of Opportunity"...
Can we realistically expect Formify any time soon?

Hi!
The kickstarter didn't work... at least not as we thought.
There are some backers and we won't let them down. I'm currently rebuilding the form to C5.7. To be honest... It's a b*tch.... But still going on...
So far I have: A form, results, almost all elements work, mailings and templates
To do: blocks and the accual submission.
Hope to have some more by the end of the month.
Best,
Corretje

Thanks for the detailed update.
I for one am looking for
1- Multi Part forms
2- OTHER option (in a select list) that opens an additional input dialog for the user to enter what the "other" is.
3- Select Field Type w/ Branching logic, where subsequent questions change depending on the answer chosen

Hi Owen,
Multi-step form is not in this version. It is on the TODO-list though.
You other requirements will work in the 5.7 version.

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that 5.7 campaign didn't work out.
I know I've struggled to get used to 5.7 method.
But once I learned it, there are much more libraries choices outside of concrete5, so you will get the benefit out of it.
For example,
PUNIC library let you handle all numbers, dates, units, lists
http://punic.github.io/
So you won't have to worry about maintaining those input fields any more, and you can concentrating on the Form submission part itself.
I know there is a learning curve... it took me about a half year... :(

Hi Katz,
You're right. The lack of documentation on 5.7 is what bothers me the the most... Some things are hard the figure out. But overall it isn't so bad ;)
So don't worry.... It going to awesome :)

Hi!
Update on Formidable on 5.7.
Still going on... sorry about that. I excepted to be finished or at least some sort of beta verison at the end of January, but something came up...
At the end of last year I was invited for a pitch of a large project. Around the end of January I got the job and all my time went into that project. So sorry... I'm getting some time now so I'm starting up the Formidable project again.
Keep you posted!

Corretje,
Do you have an update? I just got 5.7 and have a requirement to implement a form with 2 columns and static text throughout. I would have thought that would be easy to do in Concrete5 but apparently not. Your Formidable seems the best solution I've seen so far.

Hi!
The 5.7 version is currently under review of the PRB. So it should be available within a few days I guess. :)
Best.

Hi - been a long user of extended form - looking to move a site that uses this to 5.7 - looks like you are close. I saw a competitor - Formify - but didn't see yours quite yet.
Any update?

Hi,
Extended Form will not be updated for 5.7. Instead I recommend you use Formidable (Lite). The PRB is currently checking this and I hope it will be available soon in the marketplace.

Still in the PRB? Any idea what the delay is?
And what's this about a "Formidable (Lite)". Sounds like you'll be releasing a Lite version and a Regular version (which could be a good thing).

Still in PRB... Not sure what the hold up is. They are very busy I guess...
Lite version is for most people enough..
Regular or Pro version has more features for bigger and complexer forms...

Yes! Finally the Concrete 5.7 version of Formidable is ready!
There is a Formidable Lite version already and we are working on a Pro version.
Check it out here:https://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/formidable-lite/...
Thank you for your patience.

I'm about to order the Lite version, but I might opt for the Pro version if it's available within the next few days. Any ETA on the Pro version?
Hi,
Pro version will be finished around the end of the year I think.

Corretje

Currently working on this :)
