Use Formidable to build newsletter email list

Can we use Formidable to build forms that update our Concrete5 newsletter email list?

Have you done integration with MailChimp, i.e. capture customer details using Formidable forms, and then update our mailing list in MailChimp?

Ooh.... No integration for this in the latest version still. Could you put up a coding example for this?
I have no idea where to start.
Ideally I would want to have a Formidable form with a checkbox that just says 'subscribe to newsletter' and on Submit this should lead to a Mailchimp confirmation email.
