Galleria in Popup

On my site, clicking on a gallery shows the main content area of a page containing a Galleria image gallery - 2.0, but inside a popup

In Firefox, all is well. In Safari (Mac) and some IE versions the window becomes REALLY wide and you need to scroll a long way to the right to see the gallery. This only happens with the Galleria image gallery - 2.0 add-on... I've tested the popups with just plain text in the target page and it works fine.
