Non-square Thumbnails?

I'm loving this Add-On so far, very clean looking on my chocolate based site.
Any way for the thumbs to keep the aspect ratio of the pictures?
In my current case all images are 1000x563(16x9) so if I had a little direction from a pro, I could maybe make a hard adjustment to a file for them to be IDK 143x80.
Also an option for autoplay would be pretty boss.

There was a variable "$thumbsize".
I split it into two for width and height "$thumbsizew" & "$thumbsizeh".
I did that a 2nd time for the if small thumbs is checked.
After changing those numbers to the sizes I wanted I scrolled down to where that variable is called (for me after my first edits it was on line 95) and updated those two spots to match my new variable names.
