I understand some work went into making this, but why charge $15 for such an add-on? You could just as easily achieve the same effect using one of the many jquery lightbox plugins. Google jquery lightbox and you'll see what I mean. Anyway, love the CMS .. it is truly one of the best I've seen and worked with. My hats off to the team. Just not sure I agree with some of the pricing of the add-ons. I'll just eat my own words and create some nice free ones for everyone to use :)
Thx. To be direct, if you know what jquery is and you're technically in a position to be thinking of integrating it with a CMS - then no, obviously this add-on isn't for you.
Conversely, if you're like me - and you pay programmers to do things you want, you're gonna find $15 to be a lot cheaper than what it will take in time to build the block here.
It won't shock me at all if the marketplace fills up with free options for these simple interface elements over time. It also wont shock me if we continue to sell this one all the time because a site owner is interested in something that works well out of the box and comes with support.

this block ... can it be made to make square thumbnails, say 100px x 100px and not make portrait thumbnails, ignoring ratio .. much like the NGG gallery works on WordPress using lightbox/jquery? I think its kinda funky to have thumbnails uneven nor do I like them stretched out of proportion into a square, I'd rather it fit within, then cropped ... I'd pay for this to be built in if it isn't already, but don't want to buy it if it isn't something that is already there.
