Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi, it would be nice to have the possibility to turn off storing sent Emails (forms) in C5. At this time its not possible to do this.

Email logs can be disabled via the CMS, see /index.php/dashboard/system/environment/logging

I'm quite sure this link is actually mentioned on the Scan > Overall page, if the setting is enabled.

I mean storing the content (reports->form results->e.g. contact).
Eher is an option to uncheck the storing location in the form itself (see attached screenshot) but its checked again after saving (could be a bug..). I can't find a way to disallow storing form content.

This is currently not possible, unfortunately.

I posted these issues on Github to make it possible in future releases:
https://github.com/concrete5/concrete5/issues/6661...
https://github.com/concrete5/concrete5/issues/6678...
https://github.com/concrete5/concrete5/issues/6662...

You'd do a thumbs-up or reply to the issues to let others know it's important.

Okay, thanks - this means that form submissions needs to be saved (technically) ->https://github.com/concrete5/concrete5/issues/6662... and deleted (on_express_entry_delete) or would it be possible not to save form submissions (would be the best for GDPR)?

What do you think about having a automated job (or a feature in your add-on) to automatic remove the entries (deleting manually as bulk is possible yet in your add-on)

Best,
Torsten

My preference would be to not save them at all. A job is possible, but it'd require a few settings to make it generic.

E.g. :
- Which forms need to be deleted?
- How long may they be stored?
- Which kind of entitites (e.g. only Express Forms?)

I think if it won't be built in the 8.4.0 release, this would be an interesting feature to add. If you have ideas about the implementation, please let me know!

Thanks, A3020

I'm closing this support ticket because the automated job is now included in the GDPR add-on.
