After buying about 5 Gallery add-ons, I purchased this one and love it the best for our needs. Pics can eat up hosting resources quickly -- so by storing pics in Picasa, it saves both hosting disk space and bandwidth. Picasa is free, rock solid, and safe being part of Google. Later if you change hosting companies, you don't have to worry about transferring all of your pics to your new host server either.

But the main reason I like it is it allows other staff members to upload pics to Picasa without giving them access to Concrete. Then, I simply view their new pics in Picasa, and if approved, I click one little check box in this add-on and their album/gallery is automatically showing up on our site. It's just that easy. Works just like approving blog entries.

Finally, I know the time for support says WAY TOO LONG, Not true. I not only had a reply, but a fix within 12 hours. Awesome.

Okay my review

I had written a review prematurely. I need to better understand the highslide customization coding. This could be very cool. Back soon.

Oh, on another note, I just switched to Google + so there is a lot of learning going on from Picasa to Google +. What I want is an easy way to upload images from a Droid to my website and maybe also a Google + business page, so what would really be neat is a page on the website that you can customize how it take in G + and how web visitors with G + can interact.

does the job perfectly!

I am very happy with this, dead easy to set up, works like a charm. Great solution for clients who manage their own pictures for their site in Picasa - which quite a lot of people are familiar with. Solves all the hassle of resizing files for the web etc. Different options for thumbnails is great plus (my clients -artists- do not like small squares).

Very nice add-on

This is a very nice add-on and just what I needed. It did require a bit of editing of the Dutch to English for my use. I also added a couple of lines to picasa_google_albums/blocks/picasa_google_albums/view.php:
