That's a fair question. I will answer it honestly.

1. Add-on developers were asked to raise prices by the core team and the CEO. I respect what they have given us in this great FREE CMS so I will respect their request.

2. I put a lot of effort (many, many hours) into this package, and it's a great feature for a site to have. Frankly, I don't think the price I was offering originally did that effort justice.

3. The demand for this add-on accurately reflects this price change, which is normal for all things in a marketplace. We are expected to "guess" what our add-ons are worth at first, and then feel out what their really worth once released.

You're probably going to see a lot more add-ons price changing with the addition of "bundles" and deals on the new site. In reality, if you're building a site for a client, including this "Instant Search" feature is probably well worth over $60.

I hope the new prices, if most are double, don't turn off new adopters. I know I would have given it a bit more of a second look if they had been double. We'll see.
