Missing line

Question 1: Can anyone tell me what I did to lose the vertical line on my full calendar between Wednesday and Thursday?
Question 2: I have put a custom start date on both my calendar and list view yet the list view still shows the starting date as the date on which I input the event - e.g., I put 12/31/13 as the start date for the calendar but the list view includes 12/8/13.
