Itrio User Folders

developed byitrio
5 Reviews

Update: This add-on is verified to work with Concrete 5.5.x.

This add-on contains two blocks:

  • Itrio User Folders: Give your users their own file folder for uploading and downloading. The functionality is given through a block that shows a file list and an upload form.
  • Itrio Public Folder: Add a public folder for your site, and your users can upload and download files. You can specify what kind of users have access to uploading and downloading.

For both blocks you can choose to allow all file types or allow the file types specified in the access list in the file manager in the dashboard of Concrete5. Your users access the contents of the blocks on the page the blocks are placed, no need for any dashboard access. Everything is done in the block itself.

Each block you add has its own path to where the files will be stored. If you add a second block, you can as well specify the same path, and your users see the same files in both blocks.

You need to be aware that you have to style the block to your liking. In the pictures attached you can see an unstyled example of the blocks output, and the two other pictures are from the add/edit box of the blocks.

Suggestions for the package are welcome!
