I was with my client when we imported their mailing list via .csv file into the mailing list package and when you view that group in "Maling List" you can see the addreses.
However when you view the same group in "Users and Groups" it appears that the group has no members?
Also the same client who uses the latest Explorer has an odd display issue with "Mailing List" when she presses an old mailing to use as a Template it displays a massive horizontal scroll bar and the content is way off screen and poorly displayed. Also the Use as Template button is missing.
Its odd behaviour as my own version of Explorer 9 doesn't do this. I was wondering if you had come across this issue before.
With the non-registered subscribers not showing up in the concrete5 dashboard, that's actually how it's suppose to work. The users and groups section of your dashboard only contains normal registered c5 users. However, the mailing list package also allows subscriptions for people who don't have a user account (decided not to create a user accounts for subscribers largely for security reasons).
I'll look into that scrollbar IE9 issue. btw, can you please post issues like this to the support section for each package? It makes it easier to keep track of which issues have been closed.
Cheers for that Tony. I started to work it out today actually, as I have an area where people need to register to place an ad. I then noticed that you still sign up for emails but the email address field is missing. Doh!
So yeah you can get the email without being registered. It's good.
