Since version 8.3.0 concrete5 supports geolocalization of IP addresses.
This package adds to your installation a new geolocalization library that uses MaxMind GeoIP2 data.
The MaxMind GeoIP2 database is stored locally, so IP address resolution is very fast.
In order to update the local database, you can use both an automated job (called "Update MaxMind database") or a CLI command (called "geo:maxmind:update").
It's possible to use the default (free) GeoLite2 Country database, but you can also specify another MaxMind database type (for paid database you will need to specify your user ID and license key).
PS: this add-on is open source. You can contribute on GitHub.
