Two different sliders on one page

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I am building a site with this plugin. I have a header Slider with images that link to their relevant news stories. I also want to use the slider as an image gallery type block on the same page. I have created two separate templates, but they both end up with the same properties, size, etc.

Are there any known issues with two sliders, styled differently, being on one page?

Hello,

YOu can modify the css with the block ID (#nivo-24_wrapper). This ID is unique.

Is it ok ?

So you're saying to create a CSS rule called #nivo-24_wrapper, or whatever the show's ID is?

Is there a reason that you can't just have two different templates working together on the same page? I was hoping that I could style two different templates and use them both on one page, that way the template could be reused throughout the site.

How yes!

The templates is the absolute best way !

And that's why I made two templates, but the page isn't working that way. When I added the other slideshow, the slider template just followed the newest template added. They both ended up being styled the same, even with two differently styled CSS templates.

if you use the block ID between each css instruction like
#nivo-<?=$bID?>_wrapper .nivo-controlNav a.active all will work fine no ?

That's how the block gets built and is pretty much the exact code in the view.php (I don't have the page in front of me right now), but the actual CSS file doesn't have that php code snippet. I don't want to call out to one specific slider ID in my CSS when I should to be able to use that template on other sliders throughout the site. Each time you add a slider block that ID will change.

I will look at it again in a little while and get back to you.

Is there not a way to style two different sliders on the same page without having to use specific ID numbers?
