Lack of Support

I purchase this slider back in july and ever since then I have been trying to get help to solve and small issue and have not received any helped. The very first time I posted my problem, the developer responded saying that it seemed as if I had fixed the error. I got back to him explaining it wasn't fix yet and providing a screenshot to help him understand the problem. After that I have sent at least 7 messages and I just had to give up and ask for a refund.

Not responsive and unable to change colors or spacing as instructed

The slider does not resize for mobile (even the free blueberry slider does that). Also, I tried to change the look via the instructions provided but that didn't work. The seller asked me to send him the URL but I can't use the slider because it doesn't work on mobile so I just took it down. The refund process on C5 is so anti-buyer that its not worth the pain of requesting a refund but unless you're content with something that does not work on mobile, I'd recommend skipping this.

Hi,

I'm sorry if Nivo does not match your expectations. I tried to help you but you answered me with this review. In this case I feel helpless.
Nivo is not advertised as responsive. Note however, it will be in very short time.

This is exactly what I needed. Thanks a bunch!

This is great. Had a problem getting rid of the shadow at first but realized I was running the whale nivo slider at the same time, so it was rendering the css properties from the whale nivo slider. Thanks again

Rockin' Add-On

Abs0lute
I love this add-on!
Super sleek sliding banner transistions, everything you need pretty much. Helped save me a ton of development time, while impressing the pants of my client.
Thanks!

Great plugin

This is great plugin, and very simple/fast to install and configure. Works fine across all browsers, including IE6/7. Good work!

A suggestion for a possible future development would be to build in the ability to add other elements to the slider other than just a single image - eg: an html block.

I created a plugin to display the html content with transitions as creative and enjoyable:http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/content-slider/...

Very nice

Nice plugin - very slick and works as advertised. As of 05/02/2011 (UK Date for you Americano's :P) it works fine in IE 8 and 7 - perhaps certain option combinations can lead to the issues other reviewers have experienced.

Was a big fan until I realized it doesn't work in IE 7 or 8

It's a shame, because it was exactly what I was looking for. However, the fact that it doesn't work in IE is a fatal flaw. Time to find another plug-in or build something myself.

Bummer.

I really like this plugin -- it's as simple to use as the standard "Slideshow" plugin, but much more powerful.

The only problem I am having with it is it's not working with IE7. They just display entirely blank. Maybe it's my fault, not sure.
