Sorting issues

Permalink Browser Info Environment
As you may recall I was having major issues with the regular search features when searching by date. Then I read about some security issues with ProForms and their date feature which I believe you use in your add on…but that’s neither here nor there.

My solution was to create a series of dropdown selectors to create the date.: a dropdown selector for month, a dropdown selector for days, a dropdown selector for year. each entry is generated by a ProForms submission. This is working beautifully in regards to the search functionality.

So on to the sorting issue.

This first demo shows the most acceptable solution I’ve found so far.

http://westernpainsociety.org/index.php?cID=746...

I’ve sorted it by the three following criteria: ….unfortunately the years present some confusion, and its almost as if they aren’t working at all.

Month (A-Z)
Day (A-Z)
Year (A-Z)

Here is another demo that is setup as I would understand it to work most intuitively … but in this case the months don’t work at all

http://westernpainsociety.org/index.php?cID=810...

Here’s how I have that page ordered.

Year (A-Z)
Month (A-Z)
Day (A-Z)

I’ve inverted the order above and tried various other combinations. I‘m wondering if you have any suggestions. It seems like the system only acknowledges up to two sorting methods, and that the month must proceed the day.

I’ve attached an image of how I would like the ordering to work…simple chronological order.

You’ve been fantastic at helping me in the past. If there isn’t any obvious fix here, I am willing to pay you for support.

Thank you.

Best,

Kim

By my various tests, it seems like the 3rd sorting option isn't really working.
