Uniform thumbnail sizes of pictures

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hello,
I just purchased prophoto and used it on a set of images. I know the max dimensions can be set for the thumbnail photos. However, how do I get all the thumbnails to appear uniform in size. Right now the portfolio vs landscape images are very different sized in the thumbnail stream and it looks unprofessional. How do I adjust things to get the thumbnail settings all the same? The photos I have aren't all the same size because some are from websites, pdfs, etc.

The problem I have is visible below:

I really need uniform thumbnail photo size. Any help would be fantastic, as I see the examples on the add-in all have uniform size.
Thank you!

what I tend to do is set a larger max width, and constrain based on the max height. This way the top and bottom of the images all align. Another approach used by some packages for this kind of thing is to chop the images into squares, as that would allow all of their heights and widths to be equal. But for the ProPhoto block I chose not to do any chopping of the images, since that wouldn't display the complete thumbnail. Using the max-height approach tends to work well.

here's an example of what that looks like with a large max width and a smaller max height:

You are such a genius! Thank you so much. Such a great solution, it completely works for my application. I am so grateful, thank you! The max height achieves the more professional look I wanted.
