there is probably two search results blocks added on the page: one for the search sidebar, and one for the results. make sure they're both set to sort the properties highest to lowest. hmm, I think you might have to temporarily set the search sidebar to show "search & results", so that you can get to the second tab to see the sort order. (If that's the case then that's something that should probably change in the interface design)

That fixed it! I did have to change the sidebar block to show "Search & Results" so I could make the change and then I switched it back. Thanks!
