So I ran into problem with one of our clients with this. When trying to add paypal buttons which include form tags through the html block all the form and the contents of that tag were stripped and the result was an empty block was added to the page.
Possibly the security wall should be automatically disabled when a page is in edit mode.

Just found the user/group bypass. Instead of the disabled in edit mode, how about installing it with the admin user and "Administrators" group in the bypass by default.
I completely agree.
Automatic install of Administrators group bypass and maybe admin user bypass will be added in the next release.
