Newbie installation question

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Sorry to ask such a basic question, but I don't understand the instructions for installing the php code <Loader::element('footer_required');>. Where exactly am I supposed to paste the code or check whether it is already there? In other words, where would I find the footer.php file after logging on to my website? And once that's done, how do I access the traffic and statistics data?
Thanks.

You only need to add the footer_required include if your theme doesn't already include it. If you'd like to send me a link to your site, then I can look to see if the stats package is being included already.

You can get to the section of your concrete5 dashboard by searching for "traffic", and then selecting "Statistics" from the dropdown menu that displays the results.

ok, it doesn't look like that stats javascript is being included. Did you come up with this theme yourself or is it one that you bought from the marketplace? If you bought it from the marketplace, then that's something that the theme creator should add for you, since every theme is suppose to require that. If it's your own theme, then you need to find the footer include file and put that little snippet in there. Other things won't work without that footer include either, so it's more of a concrete5 core requirement, and not something just needed by this one package.

It's a market place theme. I have contacted the developer and asked for the addition. In case he doesn't get back to me, how would I go about doing this myself? Where would I find the "footer include" file that you mention in your reply?
Thanks again.

Let's first give him a day or two to see if he'll respond, since his themes are supposed to have that if they're in the marketplace
