Witwag Daily Quotes is a very simple add-on that displays a different quote each day; with the author's name, a title and the date.

The quotes can be edited from an XML file, see Documentation page.

There's a different quote for each day. You will need 365 quotes per year to make it work. Or 365 times the same. Default install comes with random authors quotes.

You can chose to display the block's title, and the date. TimeZone can be changed in case your server and the readers target is different. By default the timezone is set to Paris, France.

Examples of use : 

- A coupon :

May 10, 2012 : "Best offer of the month with the following code" - OFFERMAY

- A Quote : 

May 10, 2012 "Whatever you do, don't do it halfway." - Bob Beamon

- A coaching program :

May 10, 2012 : "5 sets of 8, 6, 6, 3, and 3 reps. On the power clean, do six sets of 6, 6, 5, 3, 3, and 3 reps."
