FAQs

Q: Is there any possibility to make the theme responsive?
A: As of the moment this theme is not responsive.

Q: Is the colour (black) customizable?
A: Yes, it can easily be customised via CSS.

Q: I was looking at the demo for this theme. With the different menu items such as Home, Wines, Specials and Location, are they pulling content from different pages or are they simply content blocks within a single page?
A: Yes they are pulling from different pages.

How to add pages to menu

To make pages visible on the automatically generated navigation menu, you use a custom page attribute called "Show Anim8ed Page".

To access this, follow these steps:

  1. Go to your Dashboard and click "Sitemap" (on the left side)
  2. Click on the page you wish to add to your navigation menu
  3. From the pop-up menu click on "Properties"
  4. Click the "Custom Attributes" tab and you will see a drop-down list of available attributes
  5. Choose on the list "Show Anim8ed Page" and then scroll to the bottom of the screen. There you will find the new attribute available for you to set. Simply tick the checkbox and click "Save".
  6. Repeat steps 2-5 for each page you wish to show on the navigation menu

Change the background image

You can change the background image on a page-by-page basis. Just follow the above steps 1 to 4, and choose the custom attribute called "background image", once you click on it, you can choose an image from your File Manager. Easy!

Lots of content?

Since this theme prevents the browser from scrolling (to keep its cool, sleek style), it can make editing large amounts of content a bit tricky. But don't worry, here's a quick tip: simply set the theme for the home page to "Anim8ed" and leave the sub pages as the default (or any other) theme. Since their content is pre-loaded on the home page, the final result will still look the same. Easy!

Use the scrapbook/stack areas

To change the logo, just add a scrapbook or stack block ("content" block does the job well) and rename it to: My_Site_Name. If you want to use the built-in formatting for the smaller text just above the logo area, simply wrap your text in a "em" tag (or format your text as italic). For the footer areas there are 2 blocks (in the scrapbook/stack) required: My_Site_Footer and My_Site_Footer_Left.

Complex blocks

If you wish to use complex blocks (that require external CSS/JS files), simply add the included "Auto head includer" block once on your home page. This will scan all the pages displayed on this theme and find any dependant CSS/JS files and automatically include them in the "head" of your page... automagically!
