Search box issue

I'm loving Boldy.
I have found that the expanding search box has needed a small edit to the CSS to add a z-index:101 to get the background to push in front of the menu when searching.
I am struggling with one small thing, though...
When typing a search and hitting "Return" it works fine, but when clicking on the magnifying glass it seems to pass a value of "Search..." to the search.
It really does pass this value, rather than not find any results, as it will find any page with the exact text of 'Search...' on them!
It is possible to change it to pass the data typed in?
