Hi James
Although I,m familiar with changing simple code in files.... I don't see view.js in the image_slider folder

<script> $(document).ready(function(){ $(function () { $("#ccm-image-slider-<?php echo $bID ?>").responsiveSlides({ prevText: "", // String: Text for the "previous" button nextText: "", <?php if($navigationType == 0) { ?> nav:true <?php } else { ?> pager: true <?php } ?> }); }); }); </script>
Hello Markella,
I don't think there is any other way to slow down the slider other than changing the core file. Thats just how concrete5 does it. :( If you want, I can change it for you. You can pm me temporary access to your host.
Kind regards,
James

Solved the issue by using simple slider instead!
Thank you for your help :) I will keep you in mind if I need some custom programming.

HI I have a question. The slideshow works great but at the end it goes to a black screen or slide and has a very long pause before it begins to play again any ideas how to fix this and which script to modify. Could it be this needs changing timeout:4E3,pager
thanks so much
thanks so much
I'm currently using concrete5's built in slider, so to slow it down we need to change a core js file. Are you comfortable navigating and editing files on your c5 installation? If so, try going to root/concrete/blocks/image_slider/ and look for view.js. Open view js with your preferred text editing tool. On the first line look for "timeout:4E3" change 4E3 to 8000 for 8 seconds or 10000 for 10 seconds.
I apologise if this is somewhat complicated but it's currently the only way to do it.
I hope I made sense. Let me know if you did it or if you need more help.
Regards,
James
