Navigation not showing anything but first level?
Permalink Browser Info Environment
How's come I can get my sub pages to show up in navation? They aren't excluded from nav and also when I go to navigation I have it set to show all so it should drop down when I hover on the tab in navigation?

I installed Brimstone on our new site everything seems to work except I have the navigation set to show all.. in the "preview" to the right when you are selecting everything shows like it should but once I publish it only shows the level 1 pages no dropdowns?
Here is attached what it shows but when I publish none of the pages like farm equipment, trailers, etc show up when I hover over Products?
Also how do I add fonts to the theme? You use Calibri on the theme but its not in my drop down list when I edit the theme?
Hi,
I've tinkered with the navigation and couldn't replicate your issue. Perhaps there might be some scripts or blocks you added that might have conflict with the navigation dropdown? When you first installed the theme with sample content, did the navigation dropdown worked then?
The fonts I'm using are Lato and Open Sans Condensed. You can change fonts on the Design > Customization settings. By default there are only 12 fonts to choose from, but I can add fonts you need and release it on my next version if you want. If you want to do it manually you can go to the folder Packages > Themes > Brimstone > CSS > Build > Fonts > and edit the default.less. Any fonts you add there would then be seen on the dropdown.
Hope this helps. Let me know how it turns out.
Thanks and regards,
James

It never did work for me.. I havent done anything but add some text and a few pictures so that shouldn't mess anything up?
Hi,
Would it be alright if I look at the site you are working on? You can pm me the link if you want. I'm leaning towards this being a script issue conflict so hopefully this gets fixed easily.

Hi,
Finally figured out why your website is not showing the dropdown. I believe you are using the "Responsive Header Navigation" custom template for your autonav. Try removing the current navigation custom template and setting it to none. Clear cache and refresh. Let me know if this works.
I apologize if it took me a while to figure out.
Kind regards,
James

What is the best way to edit .less files? and I will try that thank you
I use sublime text editor. But I think any editor would do.
Hmmm I used that and changed the main.less file uploaded to server but doesn't show the changes like it should.
Try clearing your cache. What are you trying to change?
I tried that.. trying to change padding it shows when I open up the file that instead of 40px i set it to 0 but when I upload nothing shows different however I can change CSS on a file and it works right away.
Hi,
You can also add custom styles by going to settings -> design -> customize -> custom css.
This would be a more ideal solution to adding your own css so that when you update the theme, non of your added css will be overwritten.
Hope this helps.

How would you recommend I set the padding from 40 to 0 then on the home-pagetype?
go to settings -> design -> customize -> custom css, and add this line of css:
.master-container #home-pagetype {
padding-top:0px !important;
}
click save, publish, clear cache and reload
.master-container #home-pagetype {
padding-top:0px !important;
}
click save, publish, clear cache and reload
Awesome!!!! That worked great thanks for all your help!
No worries. Glad I could help. I will now change ticket status to resolve.
Kind regards,
James

Did you try clicking your navigation block and click edit block and on the sibling pages and page levels selected display all?
If you have tried it and nothing shows would it be alright if I ask for the url of your site so I could check. I apologize if it took me long to respond. I will try to replicate your issue on my end and hopefully this gets resolved immediately.

James
