dotAwesome CTA and dotAwesome Button not working

When I create either of these blocks, the hyperlink to the button does not get created correctly.
For e.g. for my contacts page the correct URL ishttp://<myURL>/index.php/contact...
But the CTA and Button blocks create a URLhttp://<myURL>/contact and I get 404 error.
