Image/Slideshow position: fixed
Permalink Browser Info Environment
I would love to make the background image / slideshow have a fixed position, so the menu and rest of the web page would scroll up over it and the menu become sticky to the top of the screen. I've played with it a bit, but was unsuccessful. I have the menu aspect in place thanks to your help in a prior post. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Mike,
Ok I see what you're trying to do. You want the same effect as this:
http://themes.c5extras.com/express...
If you look into the docscript.js file within that theme (http://themes.c5extras.com/packages/jb_express/themes/jb_express/js/docscript.js), this is where the magic happens:
If you're familiar with JS and CSS you can re-use this to achieve a similar effect. If you're interested in custom coding services, we offer that for US$90/hr.
Hope this helps.

That should be possible. If you add a CSS "class" to the block (via click on block > Design) then you can manipulate that in your theme's CSS file (adding a position:fixed). If you can send through a URL where you've used the block I can see what CSS is taking effect from the theme and what specific tweaks to make.
