Making content blocks have a semi transparent background

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I know the best way to make block backgrounds semi transparent is using rgba with values, but can you tell me where I would put this info - the main and sidebar on your left sidebar pages seems to be based on coding you have done.

I am looking at semi transparent based on black at about 50% but am unsuare where to place the code

If you want to add css to individual blocks you can click on the block and choose 'Design' then go to CSS and under Additional CSS add:

background:rgba(0,0,0,0.5);

You can also save custom styles as a preset there.

Please keep in mind that Hi-Vis is designed to have fullscreen backgrounds which are dark enough to allow white text to be legible.
