Sticky footer and overlay tint

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I have created a "Landing Page" for my client that includes an "Enter" Button. I have been able to style the button, but I wasn't sure if there was a proven method for creating a sticky footer in Foundation, so I could place the button in the footer (I have already created a special page template, with a special footer) As it is now it doesn't look bad, but I have the feeling she will request this.
Also, she is very concerned about the "look" of her photos, and isn't thrilled about the 10% overlay in Vegas. In the block available for 5.6, there were multiple overlays, and you could define the %, so I was sad to see this wasn't available. Have you considered making a standalone Block with these possibilities?
I have done "templates" for blocks in 5.6, so I could try for this one - what would I need to change - (i guess the js file), to make a 0% tint overlay - or none? Would it be possible to add a different overlay?
Here is the staging website:

Thanks for any input!
