Unable to see Custom Attributes

Permalink Browser Info Environment
Hi,
Just love this theme, however have encountered a wee problem.

I am reasonably familiar with concrete5 as an editor on another website. I have just set up another website and I too am not able to see custom attributes? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I have purchased the premium version and am running Concrete5 Version 5.6.3.2

Kind regards

Claire

Hi Claire,

can you try uninstalling and reinstalling the theme?

A user had a similar issue and this seemed to work for him:

Please let me know if this works for you,

Regards,

Jordi

Thanks.

I now have 2 websites with this same problem :-(

I have uninstalled the theme and reinstalled, but still cannot see the custom attributes.

Any other suggestions?

Hi Claire,

this is weird. I've just installed the theme on a clean install of concrete5 5.6.3.2 and the custom attributes are there as expected.

If you feel comfortable sending me the credentials to access one of your sites, I can have look, Otherwise, the custom attributes can also be installed manually.

By the way, are both sites hosted with the same provider?

Regards,

Jordi

Oh, by the way, to uninstall the theme, have you gone to Dashboard -> Add functionality -> Edit -> Uninstall package?

Thanks for the extra info on uninstalling. I have done this and still no luck.

How best to send you login details so you can have a look?

Kind regards

Hi Claire,

you can send me a private message with the details and I'll have a look at it tomorrow.

If it does not work for some reason, custom attributes can also be installed manually, so no problem.

(oh by the way, is this a new site? If it's an old site with important information, please make a backup before sending me the details, just in case).

Regards,

Jordi

Hi,

it seems our messages just crossed :)

yes, it's pretty easy to install the attributes manually, shouldn't take you more than a few minutes.

I'm about to leave now, but I will send you the instructions tomorrow.

Jordi

Hi, I've just purchased your theme and am experiencing the same problem. There are no extra attributes. Can you please advise how I can manually activate them.

Thanks for the theme, it was just what I needed for a small site.

Hi Anete,

I've just added a page to the Documentation with instructions on how to solve this issue:

http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/themes/long-story-short-parall...

(If you decide to install the attributes manually, I'd recommend to first install one of them to check everything is working, and then install the other attributes as you need them)

Please let me know if you need anything else,

Jordi
