This theme doesn't provide a slider at all within the theme, nor an overlay for a slider.

You may find there is an addon in the marketplace that offers something like this. I just did a quick look and for example, there is this onehttp://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/slider-overlay/... I am sure there are probably others if you look under addons choose "Image Sliders". Alternatively, try asking the community by posting on the forum - someone may know of a good addon you could use.

In terms of text alignments, the theme doesn't really have anything specific for text alignment, but I'm not sure if you are familiar with concrete5 dashboard. In the content editor you can see from this image there are buttons for text alignmenthttp://www.concrete5.org/documentation/using-concrete5/in-page-edit... . In addition, the theme uses bootstrap, which has various classes like:

.text-left
.text-right
.text-center
.text-justify
.text-nowrap
.text-lowercase
.text-uppercase .text-capitalize

Actually just looking at that slider link I sent you before and I don't think it really does what you want, as it looks like it is just text overlay, not image.

If you can't find what you're after in add-ons, you may need to code your own. I just did a quick google and found some links that might help you:
