CTA Area

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I have entered a pic and text into the CTA area, and for some reason I can't get it to be wider than about a third of the page width and the graphic is getting cut off by the text. What am I missing? Thanks for your time and help in advance!

Thanks again Michael. I have one more question.

Would you please help me understand this instruction?

"To make use of the Vignette block, on the home page type, add the "vignette" block to the "header" area."

I cannot find where you're referring to. Can you help me?

What part can you not find?

On the homepage, put it in edit mode, and then hit the design button up top. You should see a "homepage" page type. Select that.

Using this page type, you should be able to add a "vignette" block. The vignette block is the fishbowl image and text as seen on the homepage here:http://simply.isitvivid.com/simply-clean/...

The page types listed are blog entry, full width, left sidebar, right sidebar - no home.

I had the same problem. Go to the dashboard, pages and themes then click on the inspect button. Click on the activate button to activate the home page design. Then it works.

If you use the vignette block it won't let you do the text like he has it on his sample webpage. You can just add a content block with a picture though and do it that way.

actually the vignette block is what I used to create the picture/text on the homepage on the sample site.

I just down loaded the template today, so I will play with it some more. The headers in the text boxes won't show up in internet explorer 9. Did I do something wrong?

IE9 makes me sad. If you're familiar with html in the least - you can update the file /themes/simply-clean/js/cufon-yui.js with the one found here:http://cufon.shoqolate.com/js/cufon-yui.js?v=1.09i...

If not, i'm planning on releasing an update soon and it will cover the IE9 issue with cufon.
