Nav header below slider

Hi there..is it possible to move the header area with all of the clickable links below the banner image? I desire to have the links a little bit lower than right at the top of the page...thanks!

I guess I should rephrase it: the nav bar in the theme is above everything else....at the very top of the screen. I desire to put the navbar below the Revolution slider, for instance. A very simple example is here:

I found out how to add a new navigation bar of links below my header. How do I delete the extra navigation bar of links that's above it? (see attached)
I'm really sorry but can't imagine what you're looking for. A small mockup ?
