Sliding NAV level 3 font size and placeholders

Permalink Browser Info Environment
I have a menu system that has level 1 headings that drop down to 4 columns with category headings with exposed child headings.

LEVEL1
|
LEVEL2 - LEVEL2 - LEVEL2 - LEVEL2
| | | |
child child child child
child child child child

I would like my level 1 and level 2 category headings to be placeholders to reach the child headings. As it is now, these headings are clickable, I would rather these heading were unclickable placeholders to reach the child headings. I've achieved this behavior with Megamenu, is this possible with Sliding NAV?

One more thing, the fonts displaying my level 3 child headings are tiny, is there a way to increase the font for these level 3 headings?

Thanks for your help,
-Dave

I meant to add that I've unsuccessfully played with the custom attribute "Don't link in Navigation" within the pages that I want to be placeholders.

Hi Daven

So you would have like inhttp://supermint.myconcretelab.com/... when you click on 'Features', you have 'Exclusive Features' that are not clickable BUT all children clickable ?

Is that ?

YOu would like to increase the size of the page 'navigation' show in the screenshot attached ?

Seb, Thanks for the reply! Yes, on the Features navigation I want the
Features to open on mouserver or click and when activated just reveal the
dropdown NAV of all child pages (the big panel), then on the headings in the
dropdown like "Exclusive Features" - "Block List" I would like them to be
unclickable.

The image you attached does show the child icon font I would like to
increase, where is that font size controlled?

Thanks for the support!!!

-Dave

Hi,

For the moment, you can :
1 - Copy the file in root/packages/theme_super_mint/elements/navigation/type2.php to
root/elements/navigation/type2.php

2- in this file change line 5 by

echo '<h3><span>' . $ni->name . '</span></h3>';

3 - Let me know

... and to increase the font size, create a file into root/css/supermint.css and add :
.l123 ul li a {
font-size: 18px
}

Seb, Thank you for your efforts! The fonts size works! I created the navigation directory in the root/elements and then I placed the edited type2.php in root/elements/navigation/type2.php. Seems there's no change. I can still click the headings and get empty pages.

Thanks for your effort.

OK, I have the level 2 menu items defaulting to the first item in the child pages, but I can't get the main NAV headings (Level 1) to be unclickable.

Hi,

in fact, to avoid hard work, the best solution befor i add option for this, is to add this rule :

.l123 ul li h3 > a {
cursor:normal;
}

Try and let me know,

Seb

Seb,

Can you please recommend a gallery for supermint? Something along the lines
of Amiant Image Gallery?

Thanks,
-Dave

Hi,

did you have tested Amiant Image Gallery ?
Solarnomics replied on at Permalink Reply
Solarnomics
Yes,

Amiant Image Gallery (AIG)is running fancybox 1 - I tried swapping the
fancybox.js files and links in the footer but when I did that the footer of
the page wouldn't scroll up and the transparent fancybox spinning wheel
would appear on the screen like I was launching a gallery image but I was
just visiting the home page. If you could get AIG running that would be
monumental.

Thanks for your attention to this,
-Dave

Hi,

Is there a way to ask the developper of Amiant Gallery to update to the last fancybox ?
