When I go to a page's properties > custom fields > header extra content and paste a line of code in there (in this case it's a meta refresh tag), c5 is not saving the full line of code after revisiting that preference. It's saving about the first 17 characters and the rest is truncated.
I can paste in the line of code again, click save, and it saves it, but if I revisit that text field it's truncated again.
[Header Extra Content]: Need a fix from the Core Team...

Whatever I insert in an initial version of a page type in the Header Extra Content, it never kept the line of code.
It's very annoying, 'cause I must put this line of code for Google in most of all the pages.
I use the c5.3.3.1 on a LAMP server.
Would appreciate a response from the Core Team, that they will do something about this or have acknowledge it.
Thanks in advance.

[Urgent]: Sorry again to remind you, but...

We really need someone from the Core Team to confirm that they will do something about this matter: Header Extra Content doesn't keep his data, and it must. Please, we need a fix!
Thanks.
Thanks.
I can't confirm this on 5.3.3.1

although I know other people have had it in the past.
Can you check something?
After saving it the first time, if you exit edit mode and approve, can you see the full code in your page? Is it only after you revisit the properties menu that you see it truncated?

Hum...

It is worst than that.
Exemple:
If I include a header extra content in a page-type (initial version),
and create a page with this page-type,
the header extra content is not there at all!
But in fact, it is in the initial version of this page-type!
Problem...

Hmm

When adding new pages, attributes saved in the default page types have never propagated out to pages. This is different than blocks. Not unexpected, since we've never coded for it, but I can see why people might expect those to work that way (given the way blocks work.)

@andrew
Yes, after initially inserting the code and visiting the page and viewing the source, the full line of code is there. If you then go back to the "extra header content" field of the properties for that page, however, the code is cut off after about 23 characters. If you then save your changes to the properties dialog, the truncated code gets inserted.
