TinyMCE does not insert new tables in Safari (Mac).
I reported a similar problem many months ago, at the time it ended up being a TinyMCE compatibility issue with Safari 4, however this issue seems to be a Concrete issue not a TinyMCE issue.
I tested the TinyMCE editor on their website and it works fine, however in Concrete it doesn't work properly.
To recreate:
1. Edit content
2. Click on the table button and the insert new table window will appear
3. Click on the insert button
Nothing happens - the window is supposed to close and a table is supposed to be inserted into the content.
I'm wondering if Concrete 5.3.3.1 uses the latest TincyMCE editor?
No solution

Sorry, I have no solution for this - it's a concrete bug and I'm hoping it will get resolved.
I'm unfortunately using FireFox (prefer Safari) until this gets resolved.

I have switched to using Firefox and have not had any problems with creating the tables in the content blocks.
