I'm not sure how large the default thumbnails are, but you might even be able to handle it by relying on the thumbnail images.
Concrete will automatically generate thumbnails for each image in, I think, two different sizes. If these sizes were adequate...

Bug: Duplicate pages
When there are duplicate pages, a number is added at the end of the page. However, when editing the path, the number is not displayed in the page's path, resulting in an offset in text equal to the length of the number.

Right ... the path is relative to the PAGE url, not the SWF url. If you set the "base" parameter to "." it will make it relative to the SWF url, or you can set it to something else ... whatever you need.

I'm not sure if I really understand what you are asking.
So you are not having trouble embedding the SWF. Is the SWF having trouble accessing the XML file? Are you having difficulties with the image paths inside the XML?
