if you go to the sitemap you can add pages for products by hand. use the product detail page type and they will have a product block already on them. then you can use the select page interface you've found to map products to pages.

it does work

they are different types of options nige. The options you added are for categorization... so.. this product is a t-shirt. use it for search results, etc. the option you want is a customer choice.. "what size for the t-shirt"

I don't fully follow the question. Are you trying to make the size and colour choices that a customer has to pick when adding to the cart? You know there's two ways to add attributes to products. One just helps in organizing your products and searchin...

re: eCommerce package and variable pricing

variable pricing should be out with the next version of ecom, end of march. It'll be part of core ecommerce so if you are already using it on a site it will be a free upgrade.
