Hi, I'm Kyle. I've been in to developing websites since I was in high school. I don't know too much about coding outside of a little bit of HTML, but I have made a few (fairly) impressive (IMO) websites in the past. I mostly used Frontpage/Microsoft Expression Web before, and I'm completely new to the Idea of CMS style platforms. I've tried a few such as Joomla, Drupal, Wordpress, and ModX, but Concrete5 has most definitely been my preferred platform by far. You could say that before I discovered Concrete, I did quite a bit of CMS shopping before I finally found it. I would mess with everything I could figure out, and then decide if I liked them or not. Turns out, the ONLY CMS I actually enjoy using is Concrete5. It's opened my eyes to a whole new world of web development, and I greatly appreciate that! To think that a service like this is free is just amazing. The only web host I've ever actually paid for is Intuit, which by the way, I wouldn't recommend to anyone.. Their service is just so limited it's hardly worth calling a web host (no ftp option, AT ALL, no cPanel (or anything like it), no software whatsoever other than their poorly designed "Site Builder Pro" that they literally force you to use if you use their service). I don't mind WYSIWYG site builders being offered, but I hardly believe that any service should FORCE you to use theirs, especially with the exorbitant price they charge. Seriously, go look at their "Add on services". You'll fall over in your desk chair! Unfortunately I'm still with them for my business website until I finish my Concrete5 version of it (Actually it's not a new version, I'm rebuilding it top to bottom). I have used many free hosts though, and that's what I have my Concrete5 installed on (Besides my WAMP). X10 is who I'm through, and they are pretty great when it comes to features, and they're in my option the best free host to test on (If you don't already pay for service that allows unlimited domains that is). I'm currently developing my business site on X10 Hosting using Concrete5, and I plan to migrate that site to a paid host when I'm finished (or close enough). I'm planning on using BlueHost, but if anyone has some better suggestions for a hosting provider, please don't be afraid to let me know! If you'd like to check out my current business site the link will be on my profile, and if you'd like to check out the new one I'm developing, the link will be under the Concrete5 sites portion of my profile. I plan to use this CMS now to bring to life all of my ideas, and will update my links accordingly. I want to thank you Concrete, for opening my eyes to this amazing method of web development!
