The latest concrete5 contains a wealth of updates, including.

  • Full page and block caching, to improve the performance of concrete5 sites.
  • Major performance improvements, to both the editing and viewing experience
  • Significant file manager improvements, including saved searches, better column customization, the ability to reorder files in sets, and much more
  • A new stable version of TinyMCE (the rich text editor that concrete5 uses)

The first update for concrete5 version 4 is now available. concrete5 5.4.0.2 includes a number of bug fixes and stability improvements. It is highly recommended for those running concrete5 5.4.0.

5.3.3 is now available. This update includes more SEO improvements, new design controls, improved user search, bulk user editing, update support for marketplace addons, improved mail and user profile support, a host of bug fixes, and a completely overhauled attributes framework for add-on developers.

Version 5.3.3 brings some dramatic changes to the way we handle custom attributes across the system. These are now very flexible, standardized, and we're quite happy with what they let you do. That being said, upgrading is at this point not a "one-click" process. We get that'd be awesome. It's very much part of what we're shooting for with the next major release, but there's only so much time in the day.

The latest version of concrete5, 5.3.1, is now available! This update improves compatibility with Internet Explorer 7 and 8 (8 strongly preferred), fixes bugs in the file manager, includes a new version of the rich text editor and much, much more. Over 40 improvements and bug fixes!
