Digital Learning Day has been a long time user of Concrete5 and needed a vendor that could help them move to the next level. Some of the challenges included:

  • Demonstrating to staff that sticking with Concrete5 as opposed to migrating to Drupal was the best option.
  • Redesign the site with a focus on an improved mobile experience as well as making the site feel fresh to students.
  • Deploy advanced functionality that non-technical staff can manage.
  • Replacing custom code with marketplace add-ons.

In addition to the above the site was deployed on Amazon's scalable infrastructure to ensure that it can handle the expected traffic spikes.

After the revamped site was released the clients response said it all, "Whoo hoo!".
